I'm leaving for New Orleans in a mere 2 hours. On a roadtrip. With three friends. For a WEEK.

Oh. My. GAWD.
We're totally gonna see the French Quarter and shop Magazine Street and wander the St. Louis Cemetary and visit the Voodoo Museum and ride streetcars and get our fortunes told and pretend to be sophisticated at Cafes and stay in a hostel and-- LOTSA FUN STUFF.

If you couldnt tell, am so absolutely, ungodly EXCITED right now!
YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
Or...maybe you do, given you know me and my ability to spazz around. A lot.

Since I plan on photographing this event to its fullest potential, I expect to to have some sort of massive (more or less?) upload with some uber shinies when I return. ;D

Right. So it's been, what...4 months since I've updated this journal? That sound about right? Hehe, I suppose it does. EEP.
Welp, lots has happened since Spring Break, but I dont feel like recounting it here in great detail. So here's a super quick run-through: Artshows and working and school ending and epic music and vacations and shopping extravaganzas and bonfires and swimming and Scrabble matches and muchly laughter. YAY.

Summer is going absolutely awesomely and there's a roadtripping to New Orleans comin' up at the end of July that Im eagerly anticipating. < 3

I plan on getting some spiffy stuff up here once I get some new inking pens. Got a WHOOOLE lotta doodles layin' around just waiting for that. D; WAITINGGGG.

However, in the meantime--

"Kick The Bass, Make It Loud!"

It's officially Friday. And just like that, Spring Break pretty much comes to a close.
...LOLWUT!? I really think we should get /2/ weeks off for being big college students now, haha.
But even with just a week, t'was a splendidly good break, indeed!
Spent Monday-Thursday with some friends waaaaay up North at Ama's Aunt's cabin. :D
We baked tons of cookies, played card games, generally chilled out, made a Nannerpus (see m'scraps for ze proof!) and went ghost hunting in Michigan! MMHMM.
AND GUESS WHAT? We saw stuff. Ohmaigawd. The Paulding Lights phenomenon of the haunted railroad tracks? YEAJ. Totally true. We saw it with our own eyes! Incredibleeeee. < 3

In other totally unrelated news...I'm gonna try that Artist-Tag thing thats currently floating around on DA.

HAI GUYZ.
Little update. Because I'm slow at these. You already know that. Moving right along...

ITS WARMING UP OUT! The snow is actually melting! MIRACLEEEE. It started in October and has scarcely let up since...
BUT. It's 40 degrees out today and I've a'ready yanked out the high-heel sandals. They're oh-so-nice.

Also, Spring break is approaching (Lawlz, next week!)...which is very much so exciting! Not like Im doing anything super uber whoash, but a break is always welcome.
...Homework, on the other hand, is not. Which is what I’ll likely be doing all this week.

Im really hoping that over the break I'll be able to get some drawn stuff up...'cuz I know its been forever and I wanna color summat crazy, darnit!

Lotsa little projects going on here and there. Some music stuffs (Like my DJ buddy’s album texts and my little bruvver’s band posters), prospective art show posters/ads, school posters…but nothing I’d upload as of right now. So yeaj.

Anyway, that's about it. SCHOOL. WORK. BLAHBLAH. Terribly uninteresting stuff when making a journal.

Depends on what it is and how many details are involved.

Sometimes.

The creativity and freedom of expression that comes with it. Its a way of life, they weren't kidding.

Made up cat-people that kinda resembled Pokemon or Neopets or faeries. Lolol.

More...polished, in a sense. More details, more colors, darker outlining, etc. Also got super rave-ish after my intro to PuroEuro. :giggle:

Finding inspiration somewhere/somehow. Usually, just a change of tunes.
